Yesterday marked the eleventh annual Apple Crunch Day! Students, teachers, and people all across Michigan crunch into juicy apples each year, but why?
Well, the month of October is all about fresh produce as it is part of peak apple season, as well as being National Farm to School month. So every year Michigan schools celebrate by eating delicious, locally grown apples.
If you didn’t catch it this year, consider supporting your local farms next Apple Crunch Day!
