On Homecoming Friday, Mt. Pleasant came out on top against Bay City Central 45-12.

At the end of the first half, Oilers were up 28-6. The largest lead of the game was Mt. Pleasant by 33 points. After the September 29 win, Oilers are 6-0, making them the number one team in the conference.

Joshua Schick is a sophomore in high school that just transferred from Alma high school. He enjoys playing basketball and baseball and played varsity basketball for Harrison high school last year. He was on Harrisons yearbook staff last year and it was a good learning experience on how to report and work computers a lot better for him.

Abigale Pontz is a sophomore. She was drawn to newspapers by her interest in sports photography. She is most interested in covering football games in the fall. When Pontz isn’t covering football, you can find her hanging out with her friends.
