A rough model representation of what the housing will look like.

Mrs Williams, and Mr Kipfmiller will be starting a Transitional housing project to serve both homeless families and individuals. These homes are considered transitional housing because you come in and live for a certain time, and you will have different responsibilities for maintaining the home you’re in. The plan is to build you up to the next step, so that in a year or a few years you will be able to move out and either buy a home or rent a home, so you can move on the the next step. This friday there will be a fundraiser masquerade gala. The event itself will be held at the Lincoln memorial center, which is located in Lux funeral home. It will be costly because of everything that will go into it like; purchasing the property, the work that goes into prepping the sight and building the homes. Just purchasing the land which will be about a million dollars. As far as the community goes, there will be a big building in the middle with a kitchen and showers. Then, the little houses for each individual will consist of a bed, a toilet, a sink, and a little closet area. It will be about 8ft by 8ft. The family home will have a little more space, consisting of a little kitchenette, so the families can do a little bit more prep work inside of their homes.

The Masquerade gala is is for anyone who may want to attend. It will be held at Lincoln Memorial Center, in Lux Funeral Home. General admission for this event with be $50, and 100% of sales will go towards fundraising for the project. Click here for more information.
